Solana Mobile develops Android devices and software intended to make on-chain applications easier to use. Saga was the first-generation phone; the current Seeker page lists the available model and present specifications.

Saga and Seeker

Saga is historically important but should not be described as the current model. Seeker uses different hardware and includes a Seed Vault Wallet, Solana dApp Store access, and a device-linked Genesis Token. Availability, regional support, rewards, and specifications can change.

What Seed Vault does

Seed Vault is designed to isolate key material from ordinary Android application access and authorize transactions through protected hardware-backed flows. It can reduce some key-extraction risks, but it cannot make a malicious or misunderstood transaction safe.

Security limits

  • Verify the complete transaction effect and destination before approving it.
  • Protect the device, authentication method, and recovery path.
  • Install software only from verified sources and keep the operating system current.
  • Do not assume an airdrop, Genesis Token, store listing, or device ownership guarantees value or eligibility.
  • Use an independent backup and incident plan appropriate to the wallet's recovery model.

Before buying or using one

Confirm current price, supported countries and carriers, warranty, return policy, software-support period, wallet recovery behavior, and the exact device generation on Solana Mobile's official site. A phone with secure hardware is not identical to a dedicated hardware wallet or a multisignature policy.
